George Lombard Jr. Struggles with Historic Error Streak

Yankees shortstop George Lombard Jr. has committed an error in six consecutive games, a difficult defensive stretch that the rookie has labeled 'not acceptable.' Despite these ongoing struggles, the coaching staff and teammates maintain confidence in his development. Lombard, who made history earlier this month as the first Yankees shortstop to homer in his major league debut, continues to navigate the pressures of his first season as the organization remains committed to his growth.
