Trevor Rogers Struggles in Loss to Cardinals

Trevor Rogers (9-9) took the loss in Thursday's 7-5 defeat against the St. Louis Cardinals. Rogers pitched five innings, allowing six runs on seven hits and one walk while striking out seven. Despite his efforts to lead the pitching staff in the series finale at Busch Stadium, the Orioles' offense was unable to overcome the deficit in the late innings, resulting in the team falling short of a series sweep.
