DJ Uiagalelei Strengthens Case for Chargers QB2 Role

Following the Chargers' 20-18 preseason loss to the Rams, DJ Uiagalelei has emerged as a strong candidate for the backup quarterback position. After competing with Trey Lance throughout the preseason, Uiagalelei outperformed his rival in the final test on Thursday night. His recent performance has solidified his standing in the team's depth chart evaluation, putting him in a favorable position to secure the QB2 spot behind the starter.
