Trey Lance Struggles in Critical Chargers QB2 Evaluation

Trey Lance faced a pivotal evaluation for the Chargers' backup quarterback role, but struggled during Thursday night's preseason finale against the Rams. Tasked with leading the offense for two possessions, Lance failed to complete a single pass. This performance follows a competitive preseason battle with DJ Uiagalelei for the QB2 spot. With his NFL career at a crossroads, Lance's inability to produce in this critical test complicates his standing on the final depth chart.
