Bennedict Mathurin Signs Two-Year, $16 Million Deal with Pelicans

Bennedict Mathurin has officially signed a two-year, $16 million contract with the New Orleans Pelicans, a deal that includes a player option. The move, which follows his career averages of 16.2 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.9 assists, allows the former Arizona standout to pursue an earlier path to unrestricted free agency. With this signing, the Clippers are expected to withdraw their qualifying offer, clearing the way for Mathurin to join the Pelicans for the upcoming campaign.
