Smyth Faces New Competition for Saints Kicking Job

Charlie Smyth is set to face increased competition for the New Orleans Saints' starting kicker position. The team has signed veteran and two-time All-Pro Daniel Carlson to challenge Smyth for the role. The Saints have been actively evaluating their kicking options throughout the summer, and Smyth must now compete directly against the experienced Carlson to secure his spot on the roster as the team prepares for the upcoming season.
