Colt Emerson to Undergo Season-Ending Wrist Surgery

Mariners prospect Colt Emerson is set to undergo season-ending surgery on his left wrist this Wednesday. The organization's No. 1 prospect, who signed an eight-year, $95 million contract prior to his major league promotion, will see his debut campaign officially conclude following the procedure. This surgery marks a difficult end to what was a highly anticipated rookie season for the young shortstop.
