Mason Adams Promoted by Rockies Following Freeland IL Stint

The Colorado Rockies have promoted Mason Adams to the major league roster. This move comes as part of a series of roster adjustments for the club, which includes placing pitcher Kyle Freeland on the 15-day injured list following his departure from an Aug. 19 start against the Dodgers. The team is also selecting the contract of Blake Adams as they look to bolster their pitching depth.
