Cardinals Waive Trey Benson With Injury Designation

The Arizona Cardinals have waived running back Trey Benson, their 2024 third-round pick, with an injury designation due to a knee issue. Benson, who was viewed as a potential successor to James Conner, saw his tenure in Arizona cut short by injuries. The move marks a significant shift in the team's backfield depth chart as they finalize their roster for the 2026 season.
