Safety Jaylen Reed Traded to New England Patriots

Safety Jaylen Reed has been traded from the Houston Texans to the New England Patriots. The deal, finalized on August 24, 2026, sees the Texans acquire wide receiver Kayshon Boutte and a 2028 seventh-round draft pick in exchange for Reed. The move provides the Texans with additional offensive depth, while Reed transitions to the Patriots' secondary as both teams look to solidify their rosters ahead of the upcoming regular season.
