Shohei Ohtani Could Return to Mound This Weekend in Detroit

Shohei Ohtani is nearing a return to pitching duties for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Reports indicate he could make his first pitching appearance since July 3 during the upcoming weekend series in Detroit. His return is part of a broader roster reinforcement for the Dodgers, which also includes Tyler Glasnow being activated from the 60-day injured list on Tuesday and Will Smith beginning his rehab assignment.
