Hutson Forced to Play Off-Side Amid Canadiens Defensive Shortage

Montreal's defensive depth remains a concern, with Lane Hutson currently playing on his off side to compensate for a lack of right-shot blueliners. While the Canadiens explore options to fill this roster gap, the current configuration is viewed as suboptimal for Hutson's development. The team is under pressure to address this puzzle piece, as relying on players like Hutson to cover the right side is not considered an ideal long-term solution.
