Brendan Donovan Placed on 7-Day Concussion IL

The Seattle Mariners placed utilityman Brendan Donovan on the 7-day concussion injured list on Sunday, August 23, 2026. The move follows a Saturday incident where the 29-year-old was a late scratch after being struck in the head by a baseball while in the batting cages. Manager Dan Wilson confirmed the roster move, which sidelines the veteran as he recovers from the concussion.
