Ryan Weathers Placed on 15-Day IL with Forearm Strain

The Yankees have placed left-hander Ryan Weathers on the 15-day injured list due to a left forearm flexor strain. Manager Aaron Boone noted that Weathers will be shut down from throwing for 2-to-4 weeks. Despite the setback, Weathers remains optimistic about his recovery, and the team believes he has a "great chance" to return to active duty before the conclusion of the 2026 season.
