Stetson Bennett Gains Edge in Rams Backup QB Battle

Stetson Bennett has solidified his lead in the Rams' backup quarterback competition behind Matthew Stafford. In a 34-0 preseason victory over the Saints, Bennett led four scoring drives and rushed for two touchdowns. His performance, described as that of a "gamer," has outpaced rookie Ty Simpson on the depth chart. Coach Sean McVay continues to evaluate the position, but Bennett is currently capitalizing on his extended playing time to secure a spot on the final roster.
