Ty Simpson Trails in Rams Backup QB Competition

Ty Simpson is currently trailing Stetson Bennett in the competition for the Rams' backup quarterback role. During a 34-0 preseason win against the Saints, Simpson completed eight of 12 passes for 73 yards and added three carries for 10 yards. While he has shown potential, coaching staff evaluations currently place him behind Bennett on the depth chart as the team continues to assess their options for the final roster.
