Joe Musgrove Nears Final Rehab Start

Joe Musgrove (elbow) is entering the final stages of his recovery. Manager Craig Stammen announced that Musgrove will throw a bullpen session this weekend. Following the session, he is expected to make one final minor-league rehab start during the upcoming week. The Padres are monitoring his progress closely as they look to integrate him back into the pitching rotation for the final stretch of the season.
