Stammen Provides Updates on Pivetta and Musgrove

Padres manager Craig Stammen provided updates on two key pitchers. Nick Pivetta (forearm) threw two innings in a bridge league game in Arizona on Thursday. Meanwhile, Joe Musgrove (elbow) is scheduled to throw a bullpen session this weekend. Musgrove is expected to make a final minor-league rehab start sometime during the upcoming week as he continues his recovery process.
