Jacob Cowing Poised to End 49ers' Punt Return Drought

Jacob Cowing is drawing attention for his potential to provide the San Francisco 49ers with a spark in the return game. The team has not recorded a punt returned for a touchdown since 2011, a drought that dates back to the Jim Harbaugh era. Cowing's performance and potential impact on special teams are being monitored as he looks to provide a dynamic element that has been missing from the 49ers' roster for over a decade.
