Kade Anderson Debuts for Mariners in 5-4 Win

The Mariners selected Kade Anderson's contract from Double-A Arkansas for his MLB debut on Saturday against the Cubs. Anderson pitched 5 2/3 innings, allowing three runs on five hits and two walks while striking out five. He surrendered back-to-back home runs to Alex Bregman and Michael Busch to end his outing. Despite the late-inning homers, his arrival is a significant roster development for Seattle, which secured a 5-4 win.
