Deebo Samuel to Assume Portion of Ricky Pearsall's 'Z' Role

The 49ers are adjusting their offensive personnel, with reports indicating Deebo Samuel will take over a portion of the 'Z' role previously occupied by Ricky Pearsall. Samuel is not expected to be an every-down player this season, with the team planning to utilize him in a hybrid capacity that includes snaps in the backfield.
