George Kirby Hit Hard in Loss to Brewers

George Kirby (8-10) struggled significantly in Thursday's 7-4 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers. The Mariners' starter was shelled early, ultimately allowing six runs on nine hits and two walks while recording only three strikeouts over 3.1 innings of work. His performance contributed to the team's defensive difficulties throughout the contest as the pitching staff faltered against the Brewers' offense.
