Nestor Cortes Signs Major-League Deal with Phillies

Nestor Cortes has signed a major-league contract with the Philadelphia Phillies while continuing his recovery from a biceps injury. The move provides the Phillies with necessary pitching depth as they look to integrate him into their staff upon his return to full health. This signing marks a significant roster shift for the former Yankees All-Star, who was previously associated with the San Diego Padres following a disappointing 2025 season.
