Allan Castro Records Base Hit in Triple-A Worcester Loss

Allan Castro was one of the few Worcester Red Sox players to find success at the plate during Tuesday's 5-1 loss to the Syracuse Mets. Castro notched one of the team's two total hits, coming in back-to-back fashion with Romy Gonzalez to help set up the WooSox's only run of the game. Despite the team's overall offensive struggles and lack of walks, Castro's contribution provided a brief spark in an otherwise quiet night for the Boston Red Sox's Triple-A affiliate.
