Mets Option Chayce McDermott to Triple-A Syracuse

Following a bullpen shuffle on Tuesday afternoon, the New York Mets have optioned right-hander Chayce McDermott to Triple-A Syracuse. The move was made to accommodate the activation of fellow reliever Austin Warren from the 15-day injured list. McDermott heads to the minors as the Mets look to reconfigure their relief corps.
