Oneil Cruz Reinstated from 60-Day Injured List

The Pittsburgh Pirates officially reinstated Oneil Cruz from the 60-day injured list on Monday. Cruz, who had been sidelined since June 7 due to two hand fractures, returns to the lineup as the team optioned Ronny Simon to Triple-A. The outfielder has recorded 14 home runs and 44 RBIs in 64 games this season. His return provides a significant boost to the Pirates' offense during a period of roster challenges.
