Jamal Adams Placed on Season-Ending Injured Reserve

The Minnesota Vikings have officially placed veteran safety/linebacker Jamal Adams on Injured Reserve, effectively ending his 2026 season before it began. Adams, who was signed to provide a veteran presence in the secondary, will now focus on his recovery. The loss forces the Vikings to rely on their younger defensive backs to fill the void left by the experienced defender as the team adjusts its roster for the upcoming campaign.
