Fred Warner Returns to Action After Injury-Plagued Eighth Season

San Francisco 49ers veteran linebacker Fred Warner is entering his ninth NFL season with a renewed focus after a fractured and dislocated ankle sidelined him for most of the previous year. Warner has been active in camp, even taking time to caution younger players like Cam Ward. His return to health is a critical development for the 49ers' defense, as the veteran leader looks to regain his Pro Bowl form and provide stability to the unit following a difficult recovery process.
