Luis Torrens Powers Mets Sweep With Four Homers in Six Games

Luis Torrens has provided a significant spark to the Mets' offense, hitting four home runs in his last six games. This includes a go-ahead two-run homer in Sunday's 4-3 victory over the Washington Nationals, which secured a three-game series sweep at Citi Field. Beyond his recent power surge, the Mets continue to value Torrens for his defensive contributions, which prompted the organization to sign him to a two-year extension earlier this season as his increased usage continues to pay off.
