Cody Bellinger Rehab Assignment Pushed to Late Week

Cody Bellinger (hamstring) will begin his minor-league rehab assignment on Thursday or Friday, an adjustment from the original Tuesday timeline. Sidelined since July 26, Bellinger's return is highly anticipated as the Yankees' offense has struggled significantly in his absence, batting just .204/.281/.354. If his recovery proceeds as planned during the rehab stint, he could rejoin the major league lineup as early as next weekend.
