Drew Gilbert Faces Challenges in Lead-Off Role

Drew Gilbert recently made his first appearance in the lead-off spot, a significant departure from his usual role batting 8th or 9th in the order. Analysis suggests that while Gilbert brings specific skills to the lineup, he faces challenges in being considered a primary lead-off option due to his current performance metrics, specifically his hitting for average, which complicates his role in constructing a standard Major League lineup.
