Luis Robert Jr. Shifts to Left Field for Mets

Luis Robert Jr. is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Washington Nationals. In a significant defensive development, the Mets have announced that Robert is set to transition to left field, marking the first time in his professional career he will play the position. This positional shift represents a new chapter for the outfielder as he integrates into the Mets' defensive alignment moving forward.
