CJ Abrams Shifts Permanently to Second Base

Nationals manager Blake Butera announced that CJ Abrams will move from shortstop to second base as his primary position moving forward. Despite being an NL All-Star starter at shortstop this season, the organization decided on the shift due to defensive concerns, as Abrams currently leads MLB in errors. Nasim Nunez is set to take over the shortstop duties. Butera described the move as the best strategic decision for the team's future success.
