Dennis Schröder Traded to Charlotte Hornets in Multi-Asset Deal

The Cleveland Cavaliers have traded Dennis Schröder and cash considerations to the Charlotte Hornets in exchange for guard Tre Mann. Finalized on August 14, 2026, this move marks the 12th franchise of Schröder's career and his ninth time being traded, the second-most in NBA history. The veteran guard joins Charlotte to bolster their backcourt rotation as part of a significant roster retooling for the Cavaliers following their failed pursuit of LeBron James.
