Chris Sale Suffers Tough-Luck Loss Against Diamondbacks

Chris Sale (12-8) took a tough-luck loss in Friday's series opener against the Arizona Diamondbacks, as the Braves were blanked. Despite a dominant performance, allowing only one run on five hits with no walks and nine strikeouts over six innings, the offense failed to provide support. Sale maintains an excellent 2.20 ERA on the season, though the Braves were unable to capitalize on his strong outing to maintain their recent winning momentum.
