Joonas Korpisalo Contends for Rangers Backup Goaltending Role

Joonas Korpisalo is currently in the mix to secure the backup goaltending position for the New York Rangers behind starter Igor Shesterkin. While the starting role is locked, Korpisalo is competing against Dylan Garand for the secondary spot on the roster. His experience and performance in camp will be critical in determining if he can edge out the younger competition for the backup duties as the team finalizes its goaltending depth chart for the upcoming season.
