Mariners Place Colt Emerson on 10-Day IL with Left Wrist Inflammation

The Seattle Mariners placed Colt Emerson on the 10-day injured list Friday due to left wrist inflammation, according to Adam Jude of The Seattle Times. While Emerson had been a general subject of interest within the organization's recent news cycle, this specific injury designation marks a significant setback. No specific performance statistics were provided in the report, but the move to the IL sidelined the prospect as the team continues its current series against Houston.
