Aaron Rodgers Remains Steelers Starter Amid Rookie Development

Despite the impressive preseason performance of rookie Drew Allar, veteran Aaron Rodgers remains the established starter for the Pittsburgh Steelers. The team is currently balancing the development of their younger signal-callers, including Allar and Will Howard, with the immediate goal of competing with Rodgers. Allar is slated to spend his rookie campaign as the No. 3 quarterback, focusing on long-term growth behind Rodgers and Mason Rudolph.
