Rookie QB Fernando Mendoza Earns First-Team Reps After Strong Debut

Following a successful preseason debut where he completed 10-of-16 passes for 97 yards and a touchdown, Raiders rookie QB Fernando Mendoza is set to receive first-team reps. Head coach Klint Kubiak praised his performance, noting the team will increase work for all three signal-callers. While Mendoza is showing potential as a future franchise option, veteran Kirk Cousins remains the starter and the favorite to open the regular season under center.
