Broncos Sign Lecitus Smith Following Michael Deiter's IR Placement

The Denver Broncos have officially signed center Lecitus Smith to the roster. This move comes in response to the team placing center Michael Deiter on season-ending injured reserve. Deiter, who suffered a season-ending injury during practice earlier in the week and had to be carted off the field, is now sidelined for the remainder of the 2026 season. Smith joins the team to provide necessary depth at the center position following the loss of Deiter.
