Patrick Mahomes Ruled Out for Preseason Opener

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid has confirmed that quarterback Patrick Mahomes will not play in the team's preseason opener this Saturday against the Rams. Mahomes, who is also managing a knee issue, will sit out the exhibition matchup as part of the team's planned preparation. Reid had indicated this strategy last week and provided final confirmation following Thursday's practice session.
