Tyler Shough Sits Out Preseason Opener Amid Breakout Hype

New Orleans Saints quarterback Tyler Shough will not play in the team's preseason opener. Despite his absence from the upcoming exhibition, Shough remains a focal point for fantasy analysts following a strong finish to his previous campaign, where he averaged 17.6 PPR points per game from Week 9 onward. The Saints are closely monitoring his development as he enters the 2026 season as a potential breakout candidate.
