Aaron Boone Backs Trent Grisham Despite Defensive Metrics

Despite concerns regarding his defensive range, New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone has reaffirmed his commitment to Trent Grisham as the team's primary center fielder, stating it is the 'best way to go.' The decision comes as Grisham faces scrutiny for his performance metrics, specifically ranking 59th out of 59 outfielders in sprint speed among those with at least 10 opportunities in center field this season. Boone continues to prioritize Grisham in the lineup.
