Rashawn Slater Sidelined by Knee Flare-Up

Los Angeles Chargers left tackle Rashawn Slater is currently sidelined with a flare-up in his surgically repaired left knee, according to coach Jim Harbaugh. Slater has missed four consecutive practices as the team manages his recovery. Despite the absence, his return is expected to bolster the offensive line alongside Joe Alt to protect Justin Herbert. The team is also currently integrating first-round pick Akheem Mesidor into the defensive rotation.
