Jared Goff Providing Leadership as Lions Focus on Sam LaPorta

Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell has praised Jared Goff for his leadership and urgency during training camp, noting his ability to keep the offense focused. Goff has also emphasized the need to get tight end Sam LaPorta more involved in the passing game. LaPorta, who had a strong 2023 rookie season, saw his production decline last year due to a back injury that required surgery, and the team is prioritizing his return to form for the upcoming season.
