Cardinals Place Joey Blount on Injured Reserve

The Arizona Cardinals have placed safety Joey Blount on Injured Reserve, effectively ending his 2026 season. Blount, who was valued by the team primarily for his high-impact performance on special teams, was listed as a third or fourth-string safety on the depth chart, but his loss is considered a blow to the Cardinals' special teams unit.
