Foster Griffin Traded as Nationals Reshuffle Rotation

Foster Griffin has been traded as part of a series of roster moves by the Washington Nationals, who are currently restructuring their starting rotation. The move coincides with the Nationals calling up top pitching prospect Jackson Kent to fill the void. Griffin's departure is one of several changes for the Nationals, who also recently designated Zack Littrell for assignment to address their pitching needs heading into the final stretch of the season.
