Omarion Hampton Expected to Feature in Chargers Backfield

Chargers running back Omarion Hampton is viewed as a 2026 fantasy breakout candidate, though offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel has cautioned that he will face competition for carries. McDaniel confirmed plans to utilize a "hot hand" approach in the backfield this season. While analysts expect Hampton's role within the offensive scheme to drive significant production, his workload will be subject to the team's rotation strategy.
