Chris Sale Suffers Loss Despite Quality Start Against Yankees

Chris Sale took the loss in Saturday's 5-4 defeat to the Yankees, allowing three runs on five hits and two walks over six innings while striking out eight. During the contest, Sale was charged with a balk, which led to the ejection of manager Walt Weiss. Despite pumping upper 90s heat with his fastball, Sale allowed a run in the second inning on a double and a single in a high-stakes pitching duel against Gerrit Cole.
