Carson Benge Cleared After Wrist Injury; Expected Return Within Days

Carson Benge is expected to avoid a stint on the injured list following wrist soreness sustained during a sliding play against the Pirates on Friday. Although Benge was held out of Saturday's lineup, imaging results returned positive, and the outfielder is optimistic about returning to action within a few days. The Mets are continuing to monitor his condition as they maintain their current four-game winning streak.
